Meet Kelley the adorable 25lb 1 year old cocker mix girl who will be available mid December. Kelley is known as the little “miracle girl” as she overcame a major medical emergency where she chewed through her spay stitches and ended up chewing part of her own intestines. At one point it was pretty touch and go as to whether this sweet dog would pull through, but Kelley is a fighter and today she is a healthy, happy, little girl with no repercussions as a result of this incident. She is currently being fostered in Los Angeles. Her foster mom says she is a playful little girl who would do well as a family dog with kids over the age of 10 because she would love to have someone to play with to burn off all the extra puppy energy she has. She is house-trained, crate trained and knows how to use a doggie door. She gets along well with other dogs but is an alpha female and definitely wants to be the boss. Being that Kelley is still a puppy she will need an active family to keep her stimulated and would benefit from some obedience training. Like all puppies she will need to be given doggie appropriate things to chew to prevent her from chewing on things she shouldn’t.
